Welcome to
Ms. Beau & Mrs. McDaniel’s Team
Welcome to 5th grade. We are very excited to be your teachers this year. This is second year we both have been teaching at Bartlett Elementary. It is Ms. Beau’s eighth year with Shelby County Schools and Mrs. McDaniel’s tenth. Collectively we have taught 1st, 4th, 5th, 6th and the 7th grades. Ms. Beau graduated from the University of Iowa with degrees in Elementary Education and Psychology. She is currently working on obtaining her Masters in Education from Union University. Mrs. McDaniel graduated from the University of Memphis with a degree in Elementary Education and she received her Masters in Education from Union University. Thank you for visiting our site. I hope our web site is helpful to you, but please ask if you ever need anything.
Grading Scale:
100-93 A
92-85 B
84-75 C
70-74 D
69-lower F
When Absent:
1) Students will be provided with a make up work sheet upon returning to school. Be sure to ask the teacher if you do not understand an instruction.
2) Students can also check web site.
3) Make sure you get any missed worksheets. You have the same number of days as you were absent to complete the work and turn it in.
4) Turn in make up work in your class tray. Make sure you write Absent on the top of the page. If this is not done I may assume the assignment is late and it will not be graded.
5) Be sure to turn in any work that was due on the day you missed.
Note: Getting and completing make up work is YOUR responsibility. If at the end of the nine weeks you are missing work due to an absence, you may not be allowed to make it up for full credit. Work that is turned in on time is graded for full credit.
