Peggy Adams,
OTR/L

I graduated in 1978 from Texas
WomanÕs University with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy. After eighteen years of experience in
adult rehabilitation hospitals, outpatient, home health and nursing home
settings, I became employed with Shelby County Schools in 1996. I now have eight years of pediatric
experience in the school environment and truly love working with children,
parents and teachers. I live close
to school and am married with one 15 year old son, a Boston Terrier and a cat.

Welcome to Occupational Therapy.
To receive Occupational Therapy a child must qualify for
special education
according to standards set by the state department.
This year my mission will be to maximize the
participation of all my assigned children in the school
environment.
I plan on scheduling the majority of my treatment on
Mondays and Thursdays this year at Bartlett Elementary.
